PIRELLI CINTURATO™ Tires

In 1968 the new Pirelli Cinturato CN36 hit the streets in the size 185R14 on the Fiat Dino and new low profile tire size 185/70VR15 for the Porsche 911. Steel belt radials and low profile tires were all the range, even making it onto cars like the Fiat 124 Sport and the Ford Escort Mexico.

Pirelli Cinturatoi CN36 took another major leap forward in sports car radial tire technology when they developed the ultra low profile tire in 1973 with the 215/60R15 Cinturato CN36 for the Porsche 911 2.7 RS and Carrera models.
