• The Pirelli Stelvio is currently made in 2 sizes for the front and back of a Ferrari 250 GTO.
• In the 1950s and 1960s Pirelli made the Stelvio range as a world beating racing tyre.

Ferrari 250 GTO Stelvio Tyres

The Current Stelvio tyres are an unusual set of tyres in that they come in 2 sizes 6.00-15 which is also described as a 215/70R15 and the 7.00-15 also described as a 225/70R15. The reason behind this is that these two bespoke tyres were designed and built specially to be fitted to the fabulous Ferrari 250 GTO. When the 250 GTO Ferrari left the factory they were fitted with Dunlop Racing tyres that are no longer road legal. When Ferrari arranged a celebration for the 250 GTO the approached Pirelli to produce special road tyres.

The famous Pirelli Stelvio named after the famous Stelvio Pass was one of Pirellis racing tyres of the 1950s and 1960s. the Stelvio tread pattern has had a fresh breath of life in celebrating the most fabulous Ferrari 250 GTO.
