P7 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ The Supercar Tire

The arrival of the Supercar in the 1970s necessitated the creation of a new generation of tyres that were extra wide and featured a much lower profile. Pirelli made tremendous advances in this area, introducing the P7 tyre in 1974. The P7's internal architecture allows for a substantial drop in tyre profile whilst increasing the width and allowing for a much bigger footprint. This Pirelli 225/50 R 15 P7 radial tyre is part of the superb Pirelli P7 line, which includes some great high performance low profile classic radial tyres.

The P7 tread pattern was popular in the 1970s and 1980s and was a favourite among for sports car enthusiasts of the time. The P7 is built to look and handle like it did in the past, but with modern rubber compositions to provide additional grip and unrivalled control and performance, making it the more suitable option for classic supercars than any modern tire.
